The Vow Edit Studio Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (‘Terms’) apply to all wedding stationery products and services provided by The Vow Edit Studio (‘we,’ ‘us,’ ‘our’). By placing an order, the client (you) agrees to these Terms in full.

1. Orders & Booking

  1. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. No work will begin until the deposit has been received.

  2. Orders are not confirmed until written approval and payment of the deposit have been received.

  3. Your order details (quantities, wording, colours, timeline, etc.) must be finalised before design work begins.

2. Design Process

  1. You will receive three (3) digital proofs for review. Additional revisions may incur extra fees.

  2. It is your responsibility to carefully check all spelling, dates, names and details on proofs.

  3. Once final approval is given, no further changes can be made.

  4. Colours may vary between screens, printers and materials. Exact colour matching cannot be guaranteed.

3. Payment

  1. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before printing or production begins.

  2. Payments are accepted via bank transfer only.

  3. All prices are subject to change without notice but will be honoured for confirmed orders with a paid deposit.

4. Production & Turnaround Times

  1. Typical turnaround time is 8 weeks from final proof approval.

  2. Custom items or large orders may require additional time.

  3. Rush orders may be considered for an additional fee, depending on availability.

  4. Production timelines may vary during peak wedding seasons; you will be notified of any delays.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Collection

  1. Delivery times vary depending on courier services and are outside our control.

  2. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs or incorrect delivery information provided by you.

  3. Any damage during transit must be reported within 48 hours, with photos of the packaging and products.

  4. If collecting in person, you assume full responsibility for items once collected.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  1. The 50% deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  2. If you cancel after design work has begun, you will be charged for all work completed to date.

  3. Once printing or production has started, no refunds or cancellations are possible.

  4. Custom products cannot be returned or refunded unless faulty.

7. Errors & Reprints

  1. If errors are present in the final product that appear exactly as approved on the proof, reprints will be at your expense.

  2. If an error is made by us (not reflected on the approved proof), we will correct and reprint at no additional cost. Reprints may require additional production time.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. All designs, illustrations, templates and layouts remain the intellectual property of The Vow Edit.

  2. Designs may not be reproduced, sold or altered without written permission.

  3. We reserve the right to use photographs or digital images of your stationery for marketing unless you request otherwise in writing.

9. Custom Artwork & Licensing

  1. Any custom illustrations or artwork created for your stationery remain our property unless a separate licensing fee is agreed upon.

  2. If you supply artwork, logos or images, you must have the legal rights to use them.

10. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and timely information.

  • Review proofs thoroughly.

  • Approve all designs in writing.

  • Meet required deadlines to keep the project on schedule.

11. Liability

  1. We are not liable for any losses arising from incorrect details provided by you.

  2. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from delays, errors or lost shipments.

  3. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the order.

12. Privacy

All personal information provided is kept confidential and used solely for completing your order, unless you grant permission for other uses.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Scots Law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
